Work with Us
We are working to end chronic loneliness and we need your help.
Here are just some of the ways your organisation can work with us. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to speak with a member of our team about your organisational needs and how we can help.
Research and Evaluation
Do you need to find out more about loneliness amongst your employees or the people you support?
We have worked with a range of organisations to help them learn more about the people or customers that use their services, and the impact of support provided. We also work with academic researchers and have worked with colleagues from a range of universities, including the University of Glasgow, University of Sheffield, and London School of Economics.
How we work with researchers
- We support the development of research proposals, act as research advisors and co-researchers, and enable effective dissemination by sharing findings widely and convening events.
- We invite researchers, policy makers, and professionals to take part in our Research and Policy Hub and Tackling Loneliness Hub events to share and discuss their work in addressing loneliness.
Do you want to learn more about loneliness, including risk factors and what works if colleagues or the people you support are experiencing loneliness?
We provide a range of training options to help employees learn more about tackling loneliness in their workplace. This includes:
- E-learning: a self-directed online learning module aimed at individuals who would like an overview of the causes and effects of loneliness, as well as practical tips for addressing loneliness.
- Loneliness Learning Programme: a bespoke learning programme which is designed to increase your understanding of loneliness and equip you with the practical skills to take action on addressing loneliness in your workplace.
You can invite a member of our team to speak about loneliness at your event or staff-wide meeting.
As the trusted voice on loneliness, we have built a great track record in working with a wide range of corporate partners, including TransPennine Express, Manilife, and Saga. Our partnerships have been successful in delivering benefits in terms of customer loyalty, employee morale, or a strengthened brand, which is evidenced by many wishing to extend the partnership over several years.
As a small organisation, our expert team are flexible in their approach and are proactive in identifying potential new opportunities to extend the impact of the relationship beyond the initial plans, for example with new media opportunities or speaking ideas.
Our reach through our social media channels, newsletter, international conference, and earned media amplifies our messaging about the partnership and its achievements. We also have expertise in reaching out to the diverse group of people who can be lonely to encourage them to engage in activities that will build their social connections.
