How do we tackle loneliness after Covid-19?
Photo competition
To coincide with the publication of the paperback version of Noreen Hertz’s book The Lonely Century, we are launching a photo competition to find pictures which illustrate all the work that is being done to tackle loneliness. We are looking for pictures which encapsulate things that both individuals and organisations are doing to tackle loneliness in 2021 during and after a pandemic.
We hope to use the best ones for our website (you will be credited). In #Loneliness Awareness Week we want to show all the positive work that people are doing across the UK to tackle loneliness during and after the pandemic. You might be a small community organisation and tell us about some of the activities you have put on or you might be an individual helping someone you think might be lonely. It is important that before you enter you make sure you have the consent of anyone visible in your photograph to enter the competition and are aware that your photograph will be shared on social media and possibly our website and other communications channels.
You can enter by liking and following our twitter account and sharing your photo entry to #tacklingloneliness2021.
We would prefer landscape photos if at all possible.
Deadline is 31 June at 11:59pm.
If you have any queries please email jenny@campaigntoendloneliness.org.uk
