Hi
I am a healthcare assistant for the NHS working in the community. I am also studying the foundation degree in health and social care. As part of my final module we are requested to chose a health promotion.
I have chosen to address loneliness in the elderly as this is something I encounter on numerous visits throughout the course of my work.
As part of my essay I will be discussing the benefits of getting the community together, and looking out for the elderly who live alone, and how we can address the whole issue of loneliness.
I am asking if there is any thing, leaflets, posters etc that I can use in my promotion but also to be able to distributed amongst staff and patients alike.
Thank you so much. Together we can help to end the loneliness and isolation.

I would like to join your campaign. After raising my children and having a very busy high profile career I am now living alone.
