The Campaign to End Loneliness is inviting applications for new voluntary management group members to bring strategic, positive and creative thinking to our work to 2020 and beyond.

If you have significant, senior-level experience in fundraising, brand and marketing, business or the statutory sector and are looking for a non-executive opportunity with a dynamic organisation, then apply.

The Campaign to End Loneliness believes that we must make loneliness everyone’s business so that no one in later life who wants meaningful connections should be without them.

We are a powerful catalyst for inspiring this change. We use research, education, powerful communications to ensure there are effective ways for older people to stay connected; all of which will lead to a reduction in the damaging effects of loneliness in older age.

Following a recent £2.65m award from the Big Lottery Fund to part fund our work over the next four years will be undergoing a major expansion of our reach, ambition and partnerships.

To achieve our goals, we’re seeking new members for our management group – the committee of experienced advisors who lead the Campaign as non-executives – who have significant experience in fundraising, brand and marketing, business or the statutory sector. If you are strategic, positive, innovative and can bring significant expertise in one or more of the areas we are seeking and share our hunger for reducing loneliness in later life through the growth, new opportunities and ground-breaking programmes, then apply to join our management group.

Closing date: 18th June 2017

Interviews: 3rd & 4th July, Independent Age Offices – West Kensington.
