100 local authorities in England have been invited to apply to the Big Lottery Fund’s Ageing Better (social isolation) programme by 17 May with an Expression of Interest (EOI).
Many of the sections of the EOI require a summary of quite detailed knowledge from your own area. We have compiled relevant content from our website, toolkit and publications for anyone preparing a BLF EOI application.
While the Campaign to End Loneliness is actively supportive of this programme, and looks forward to seeing the work progress, the team is unable to provide advice to specific local areas. Please feel free to use and reference our materials, as a national organisation we will also not be providing formal backing to any one EOI – but we wish all areas well.
Describe the specific issues faced by older people in your area drawing on any evidence and statistics available.
